SIA BL Grupa has reached a significant milestone in its digital transformation by implementing advanced production technologies in collaboration with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). Funded through the EU Recovery Fund, this project integrates cutting-edge automation into the company’s construction fleet to enhance precision and operational efficiency. The centerpiece of this investment is a Trimble 3D automation system installed on a Bobcat skid steer loader equipped with a grader blade. This high-tech solution automates height adjustments during the material leveling process, ensuring "millimeter-perfect" accuracy for both indoor and outdoor projects, such as site and road construction. A key efficiency gain of the new system is the ability to upload construction designs to the machinery remotely. This digital workflow minimizes manual intervention, reduces material waste, and significantly accelerates project timelines.
